"My friend and I took her 5year old twin granddaughters to Stoney Creek for a short get-away before Christmas and to see the lights. We had never been there before, but chose it due to the room size and discounted cost $69.00. We really loved the decor in the lobby and at the pool. All of us enjoyed ourselves immensely. Staying from a Sunday to Wednesday, the hotel was not crowded at all. Several times the children had the pool to themselves. It was an indoor/outdoor pool, and it surprised me that the outdoor part was accessible. Another hotel I stayed at during the winter had the outdoor part of the pool closed off with plexiglass. The room was clean and comfortable. I only wish the beds were bigger. They are called full beds, but seem narrower than my full bed at home. Breakfast consisted of biscuits and gravy (one day), and eggs and sausage (the next day). There were muffins, toaster waffles and french toast, yogurt, cereal, fruit cups, fresh fruit, coffee, juice, and many other breakfast foods you'd find at a hotel. Maybe people have had problems with crowds on the weekends, but I would definitely recommend this hotel during the week."

"Just wanted to say thank you for the wonderful months that Stoney Creek has provided for my husbands stay and my brief stay. We call that his second home, and I absolutely love the area. I also want to commend one in particular worker that made my and my daughters stay there absolutely wonderful, to the smile on her face, her persona, and having my lil one always under her toes she brought a smile to our face every time she came to our room and though I am sorry to say I can't remember her name, but I know it starts with a (S) she is african, american, long braids and always nicely dressed. Please tell her thank you. And a big thank you to you too....."

"We absolutely loved this place. Very warm and friendly. Best times to stay are during the week, sometimes on the weekend it's a little more crowded and the week we stayed there were a bunch of HS boys running around. The pool area is by far the best we've seen to date and we traveled 3-4 times a year for my husbands job. The italian restaurant in the shopping plaza right out front is not to be missed, go more then once and you're welcome back like family! Also the seafood restaurant next door was fun (I'm not a fan of seafood, but had a good steak), not for those on a budget though... Hope to go back again someday although we really have no reason now that my husband is retired!"
